Overview

Vendii integrates AI capabilities to assist coordinators and vendors in managing events, understanding compliance requirements, and creating content. AI-generated content is provided as a convenience and informational tool, not as a substitute for professional advice.

How We Use AI

Vendii uses AI in the following features:

  • Event enrichment: Coordinators can use AI to generate event descriptions and cover images based on basic event details.
  • Compliance guidance: Vendors receive AI-generated analysis of which permits and licenses may be required based on their business type, state, and county.
  • State requirement reference: Our compliance engine uses AI-assisted data to maintain a reference of common state-by-state vendor requirements.
  • In-app assistants: AI-powered agents help answer user questions about events, compliance, and platform features.

AI Compliance Guidance

Our AI compliance tools analyze your vendor profile (business type, operating state, and county) and suggest permits, licenses, and certifications that may be required. This guidance is based on general regulatory patterns and may not reflect:

  • Recent regulatory changes or updates not yet reflected in our data.
  • County-level or municipal variations within a state.
  • Special circumstances specific to your business model or product.
  • Requirements imposed by individual event coordinators or venues.

Legal Disclaimer: AI-generated compliance guidance is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional advice. Vendii is not a law firm and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of AI-generated guidance. You should consult with a qualified attorney, your local health department, or the relevant regulatory authority to confirm all requirements for your specific situation.

Limitations & Disclaimers

  • Accuracy: AI models can produce incorrect, outdated, or incomplete information ("hallucinations"). You must independently verify all AI-generated content before acting on it.
  • No attorney-client relationship: Using Vendii's AI compliance tools does not create an attorney-client relationship with Vendii or any third party.
  • No liability: Vendii is not liable for any damages, penalties, or losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, including but not limited to permit violations, health code infractions, or business interruptions.
  • Generated images: AI-generated event images may not accurately represent your venue or event. You are responsible for ensuring all published images comply with applicable advertising and consumer protection laws.
  • Bias and fairness: AI models may reflect biases in their training data. Vendii works to mitigate bias but cannot guarantee unbiased outputs.

Your Responsibility to Verify

By using Vendii's AI features, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for verifying all AI-generated compliance guidance with the appropriate federal, state, and local authorities.
  • You must obtain all required permits, licenses, and certifications before operating as a vendor, regardless of what AI guidance suggests.
  • You will not rely solely on AI-generated content for legal or regulatory decisions.
  • You will review and edit all AI-generated event descriptions and images before publishing.
  • You will report inaccurate AI-generated content to Vendii so we can improve our systems.

State AI Regulations

Several U.S. states have enacted or are considering laws regulating the use of AI, including:

  • Colorado: The Colorado Artificial Intelligence Act requires transparency for high-risk AI systems used in consequential decisions.
  • California: AB 2013 requires AI developers to disclose training data sources; SB 942 mandates AI watermarking and provenance for generated content.
  • Utah: The Utah Artificial Intelligence Policy Act requires disclosure when consumers interact with AI.
  • Other states: Illinois, Texas, Connecticut, and others have enacted or proposed AI transparency requirements.

Vendii discloses AI usage through this policy, in-app disclaimers on AI-generated content, and clear labeling of AI-assisted features. We monitor evolving state AI regulations and update our practices accordingly.
